Job Responsibility

The Segment Manager Prepaid owns the strategy for consumer segment of Mass Market in order to grow Market Share (revenue and consumer), Consideration and ARPU and Deliver the Segment’s P&L as per agreed Annual Plan.

This includes setting a differentiated marketing and proposition direction, executing all in flow activities to win market share in the given segment.

 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

- Based on a deep understanding of the target segment, develop a segment growth strategy delivering on existing and future customer needs, and aligned with the company strategy. Develop a clearly differentiated positioning for Vodafone in the hearts and minds of customers.

- Translate the segment strategy into a yearly commercial plan with other departments in order to deliver overall objectives for the segment. Communicate the segment strategy and commercial plan to the rest of the organization, giving pace and driving the cross-functional execution.

- Identify customer and commercial opportunities through rich insights;

- Understand the, market, competitors and segment opportunities;

- Define simple and differentiating segment branded claims and propose activities, propositions and customer experience developments to substantiate these;

- Define a Segment Marketing plan/roadmap and secure resources to deliver as per the Vodafone way of marketing.

 

Deliver and improve segment performance/ P&L:

- Track & report on segment performance, proposing improvement initiatives to deliver P&L as per plan;

- Improve sales and operational execution;

- Deliver all segment KPIs like ARPU, NPS, Consideration, etc;

- Keep focus on Digital Marketing and Customer Experience Excellence;

- Priorities customer experience initiatives across all segments to improve NPS;

 

Requirements:

- University degree;

- At least 3 years consumer marketing experience, either in the telecom sector, or banking;

- Strong analytical and strategic skills combined with deep passion for customer insights;

- Track record of commercial acumen translated into business success;

- Fluent English.
