Your day to day:

To support the delivery of non-standard solutions and configurations impacting the BSS solution and business processes. Ensures that the software developed solutions are aligned with the business requirements, including solution design activities, solution testing assessment and end-to-end stakeholder management and communication.

With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Develop a deep understanding about the solution and the other systems interacting with it, acting as a solution SME of the assigned application for all internal partners.
  • Assess end to end system impact of a configuration or process change, including changes affecting multiple systems.
  • Work with the Product Design Authority, Engineering, Operations, and business users to ensure the accuracy of the solution designs for non-standard solution or special setup.
  • Provide guidance and solution expertise to the business users.
  • Effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders throughout delivery to ensure a common and consistent understanding of a project's functional requirements and work through implementation (design, development, training).
  • Understand the Operating Model and ensure all changes are understood and approved by  the teams involved and process documents have been updated.
  • Support during OOH’s Releases (expected 6 – 8 releases (nights) per year).
  • Help develop and deliver training as needed. Create knowledge base documentation and training materials for End User Support.
  • Interpret, author and update solution and user documentation as needed.

With these skills, you are a great candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field
  • Ability to analyse, review and document current functionalities to identify potential areas of improvement
  • Understanding of business needs and dependencies between systems in order to establish priorities
  • Knowledge regarding Agile/Waterfall Project Management methodologies
  • Have a strong ethic of business process improvement and a drive to innovate around our operations
  • Great communications skills at a variety of levels within the organisation
  • Ability to create documentation for new features or functionalities and deliver end user training
