Voice Core Engineer WANTED!

Role Purpose: 

  • Delivery and execution of all engineering activities related to the Voice Core (CS,  Signaling, CDR, interconnect and IMS domain) into the relevant cluster ‘s country network  inline with GNE&D strategy and with local market business priorities.

  • To be responsible for proper configuration of the Voice Core platforms.

  • To contribute to the design of voice core solutions / services.

  • To implement voice core solutions / services.

  • To test voice core solutions / services.

  • To document voice core solutions / services.

  • To continuous improve the voice core service and the related processes

  • To monitor and improve the voice quality

  • To trigger and coordinate regular interconnect capacity extensions

  • To closely monitor capacity and performance KPIs for the Voice Core platforms.


  • Technical knowledge and expertise in the Voice Core Networks domains (IMS, CS, Signalling, Customer Databases or interconnection.). Knowledge in protocols, services and in overall network architecture (both mobile & fixed).
  • Technical skills in network design, analysis, integration, testing, etc. in the domains of interest.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with teams of all sizes.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and basic relevant skills. Ability to act as project manager in small and medium scale.
  • Proven experience and attitude to work in multinational and multicultural teams in a complex large company and matrix environments
  • Strong established relationships with stakeholders in the cluster countries, namely with local operational and commercial/demand teams and stakeholders.
