Team Leader DLP

 

Role purpose:

The Team Leader is responsible for training, coordinating and motivating a team of 15-20 direct reports, assures business management in accordance with the department's performance targets, identifying and proposing solutions to improve processes and activity.

The team leader is actively involved in stakeholder management being at the forefront of the operations from a delivery and KPI perspective and also acting as the leader of the team according to Vodafone’s Policies and Code of conduct.

  • Ensures the development of the team members by using monthly feedback sessions focused on analysis of the monthly results, performance recognition and employees’ counselling to improve performance and skills development
  • Defines clearly the roles within the team, responsibilities and performance targets for each team member
  • Gets involved in the process of recruiting new team members and creates work groups in order to increase / improve the level of knowledge and skills specific for the activity
  • Manages all human resources aspects for team members including payroll, counselling, and support and is accountable for ensuring compliance regarding employment documentation for all the team members
  • Organizes and facilitates meetings and regularly provides feedback to support team managers and operational manager
  • Facilitates services assessment in order to ensure compliance with quality standards, achievement of the KPIs and operational goals
  • Periodically reviews the cases analyzed by the team, identifying and implementing ways to optimize received information and the generated results
  • Revises the working processes periodically and suggest changes to make it more effective and relevant
  • Acts as a partner in identifying new development opportunities for the _VOIS customer portfolio.
  • Creates and promotes a working environment that encourages both individual and team performance for providing quality services to Vodafone customers

 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Good verbal communication skills in Italian and English (C1/ C2)
  • Relevant experience - minimum 3 years - in telecom or in other sectors with exposure to related activities
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Leadership experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, analytical and decision making skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (including MS Access)
  • Good persuasive skills to get the required feedback on escalated cases
  • Customer focus and ability to create a positive experience to Vodafone customers
  • Focus on results and good organization and prioritization skills
