Cognitive Solution Owner


Role purpose:

The Cognitive Solution Owner is responsible for a number of key architecture processes and areas within the Autonomics and Analytics Architecture Domain,  including:

  • The alignment of our natural language and computer recognition (cognitive) strategy, architecture and platforms to support Technology_VOIS and Group IT Operations via day-to-day collaboration with other OE Domains and Local Market customers.
  • Understand the opportunities to use cognitive capabilities to benefit operations in terms of AI interactions with end users requesting services and also operators and engineers resolving incidents and diagnosing and fixing root causes (RCA and fix).
  • Use cognitive capabilities to drive Intelligent Automation opportunities with our Service Lines and the Service Management Domain, in particular around service request automation and engineering resolution support.
  • Collaborate with the Product, Program and Engineering teams within the Autonomics and Analytics Domain to ensure efficient and effective delivery of cognitive tools and platforms across the whole of Technology_VOIS.
  • Be a major contributor to the overall Reference Architecture and Architecture Roadmap for the Autonomics and Analytics Domain.
  • Attend, contribute to and submit Decision Papers to the overall Autonomics and Analytics Domain level Technical Design Authority process as the cognitive architecture single point of contact.

  • Ownership of the Reference Architecture and Architecture Roadmap for natural language and computer recognition (cognitive) within the overall Autonomics and Analytics Domain.
  • Final governance of all architectural and technology decisions within the scope of Cognitive tools and platforms.
  • Ensuring that Engineering teams collaborate on the delivery of High Level Designs and sign-off of Low Level Design patterns.
  • Alignment of the Reference Architecture and Architecture Roadmap for cognitive with other Domains and major engagement with Local Markets.
  • Collaboration with internal and external parties/partners to create a virtual community that accelerates and integrates our cognitive capabilities through a balance of reuse and innovation.
