Job Scope:

As an Inventory Analyst your main responsibilities are to ensure the delivery of processes from your scope are the reporting and registration of operations concerning stock movement, governance & processes. You will also be a key point of contact for other areas of the company that the Stock team interacts with. You will assure the implementation & compliance with the rules from the Group Accounting Manual & the local financial reporting rules.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Continuous revision of compliance with accounting policies & accounting reports
  • Monitor changes in reporting policies & procedures and support other teams from FinOps area to implement these changes
  • Proactive approach in relation to internal & external auditors & monitor any findings raised by auditors
  • Periodic review of classified accounts in main groups of risk & establish a revision process including (but not limited to) utilized accounts for reporting according to IFRS 15 standard
  • Active involvement in the process of certification of end of period (biannually)
  • Adopt & maintain proactive relationship with teams from shared service center
  • Guide teams from FinOps to establish & implement internal controls for Stock area
  • Periodical review & adjusting of controls to include new lines of services or newly developed products
  • Support FinOps department in documenting controls
  • Support management of FinOps regarding quality content, relevance & recurrence of reports towards external users & Group users
  • Responsible with organizational change process generated by the adoption of new reporting standards (eg. IFRS 15)
  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports
  • Offer support & relevant analyses to other collaborators in achieving working capital targets

Requirements:

  • 3 years minimum in accounting/audit/financial analysis
  • University degree in Economics
  • Good command of MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • English language- advanced knowledge
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience in multidisciplinary interaction with executives
  • CIMA or ACCA qualifications represent and advantage
