Role purpose:
Ensure finance management of the Project Management Agreement (PMA) in relation with company setup processes such as capex accounting and recharges, intercompany transactions, depreciation recharges, lease accounting and energy recharges
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post manual journals in relation to invoice payables.
- Run vendor payables reports and obtain validation of invoices to be paid
- Ensure payment and vendor related reports are up to date and shared with all involved parties
- Validate the intercompany charges based on the PMA
- Raise intercompany journals related to all intercompany charges based on the PMA and share them with the SSC and all other connected parties
- Prepare the manual journal regarding accruals and deferrals based on reports generated by the accrual engine from system and other accruals generated by the business owners.
- Raise other journals required for the month end in accordance with the PMA.
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with the business owners and the share service center (SSC)
- Have a good understanding and act as an interface between the business processes owners and the SSC
- Ensuring that all journals are posted correctly in accounting and to the correct cost centers.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- University degree
- Good written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English
- Min. 3 year of professional experience in a finance environment
- SAP knowledge would be a plus
- A good understanding of reporting and accounting concepts
- Good understanding of the telecommunications industry and telecommunications infrastructure
- Very good conceptual skills
- Working independently, as part of a team and quality awareness
