At Vodafone Group Cybersecurity operations, we help our customers remain secure and resilient in a world of increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks.  We offer a unique combination of highly resilient networks, enterprise-class cloud platforms, advanced security systems and expert advice, helping limit the risks of a mobile workforce, such as commercial losses, regulatory breaches or threats to individuals, whilst enabling productivity and employee satisfaction

The primary purpose of the role is to produce technical designs, work with project/ delivery and lifecycle management to ensure successful implementation of tailored and emerging solution deals. To provide security engineering expertise in support of Group Technology Security standards and policies for the Vodafone, installed security appliances and infrastructure. A key team member on strategic or enterprise-wide technology projects or issues, providing technical input.

With us you will:

• Ownership of the IBM Resilient Incident Response Platform environment, including, but not limited to, Installation, Implementation, Administration, Content Creation (fields, rules, reports, widgets dashboards, etc.), and Engineering support
• Performs environment health assessments, capacity planning and performance benchmarks providing operational assurance (operational readiness)
• Respond to Cyber Défense Incident Alerts (CDIA), provide appropriate CDIA reporting, investigate said Incident, perform ITIL Incident \ Problem tracking and bring each incident to an appropriate resolution
• Responsible for Resilient Incident Response Platform product lifecycle including, but not limited to, product patches, product upgrades, product redesigns, product EOL, etc.
• Respond to customer questions relating to Resilient Systems’ APIs and SDKs and address customer tickets to understand common issues
• Assists in the design, implementation and operation of Vodafone security architecture and/or subsequent security protection schemes. Identifies and analyses operational risks, collects security expectations and finds an optimal solution.
• Designs solutions in alignment with security architecture standards. Liaises with vendors concerning the potential solutions.
• Contributes to the implementation of new and modified security systems in conjunction with security requirements.
• Prepares and ensures quality documentation in accordance with Vodafone & industry standards.

Apply if you have:

• Experience in maintaining and supporting, maintenance and support experience for Incident management workflow tools (IBM Resilient, Remedy, HP OV, ServiceNow, etc).
• Linux Administration, Configuration & Running Linux Base OS
• Experience with web services, API development and Management. Scripting and support experience to Java, Python or other programming languages
• Linux Administration, Configuration & Running Linux Base OS
• Strong communication skills for support and enhancement/ changes with users/ customers, service and process owners
• Good understanding of certificates, SSL, proxies, SAML, SMTP and IMAP. Knowledge of Tomcat and PostgreSQL, a plus.
• Good understanding, but not limited to Industry Security standards (ISO27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework, etc)
• Proven experience in dealing with third-party software vendors to obtain best responses and effective support through good working relationships
