Role purpose:

Being part of the Vodafone Innovus Product Innovation & Growth team, a Product Development Manager’s mission is to work with the Product Innovation & Growth manager in acquiring new partnerships device and/or solution Partners as well as within Vodafone Group and Vodafone Partner Markets or EU projects and Academia to extend the company’s reach in additional or complementary key vertical markets or product hey features, leveraging their expertise to establish innovative approaches while growing the company focus. 
Will also establish a robust Product development lifecycle with primary interest of the Vodafone Innovus product innovation mechanisms & product growth. Accordingly, Product development manager will be responsible for setting up a top-notch Product Lifecycle mechanism across all Vodafone Innovus IoT solutions that will support the company’s portfolio growth while also working on hero R&D projects.
 

Key responsibilities and decision ownership:

•    Work closely on setting up the Product Innovation & Growth mechanisms to support INNOVUS R&D projects and processes
•    Undertake R&D project and support Product Innovation & Growth Manager in integrating them to existing product portfolio, orchestrating technical and commercial aspects to maximise the partnership impact within the organisation, while minimising cost.
•    Create and sustain an active roadmap of partnerships per vertical market, establishing a successful pipeline to support the company’s growth plans, identifying market trends and following up on global market insights.
•    Establishing Business Case support for all projects and working with Finance team to evaluate as well as pursue a new product delivery.
•    Support product documentation in terms of creating templates and content for newly developed products
•    Drive and coordinate the internal product transformation program to develop a robust product development processed for new and existing products.
•    Work closely with Product Team in establishing lifecycle product management processes for existing products to establish predictability and innovation in new project and products.
•    Actively contribute in discovering and creating tools and/or improving existing ones that helps the smooth operations of product lifecycle management from insight to launch
•    Actively share best practices and tools with product management team and contributing to the overall product team successes.
•    Communicating with internal partners

Functional skills, experience & knowledge:

•    University Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or closely related field
•    A proven working experience of at least 5 years on relative positions where lifecycle of digital products (web, app) and Product Growth was a key driver
•    Good Knowledge of product operations.
•    Proven experience in technical writing
•    Broad experience and knowledge of collaboration tools
