Role purpose

Provide administrative support to Virtualized and Physical infrastructure platforms in order to maintain and improve the high level of service offered to customers, at the minimum operational cost and in order to contribute to company profitability and growth.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

•    Manage Incidents (as 2nd Layer support), that affect Systems and DB Services. Provide Consultation to NOC/Service desk, technical escalation to vendor, issue trouble report and follow up resolution
•    Deliver requested services in the predefined SLA. Take initiatives to simplify processes and reduce delivery times. For system access requests, validate any possible security risks 
•    Be responsible for the protection of systems for possible vulnerabilities, theft or damages to the hardware and software. Be compliant to local regulatory rules and communicate accordingly to ensure install base integrity and security
•    Monitor infrastructures’ capacity and performance, produce usage and availability KPI reports for systems, storages and DBs’ under team’s scope

•    Ability to work independently if needed and to take initiatives during Application and systems deployment  and services’ certification

•    Reporting  and Analysis skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications

•    University degree in computer science, communication engineering, electronic engineering or very closely related science/engineering. 
•    Two (2) years of relevant experience in telecommunications or Computer Systems and Internet Services industry as X-NIX or DB administrator. 
•    Proven working experience in virtualization and cloud techniques (i.e VMware, OpenStack) 
•    Knowledge on Storage Area Networks (EMC & Local Storage) 
•    Experience in infrastructure installation and configuration (Storage, BackUp etc.)
•    Very good knowledge of English Language (oral and written)
•    Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
