We are looking for a Terminal Distribution Senior Associate Manager

Role Purpose 

Working collaboratively with Terminal team members, Vodafone distributors (Brightstar etc), the key device suppliers (e.g. Samsung, HTC, Huawei, Apple etc) and internal stakeholders (Mainly with terminal portfolio and segments, trade mark., proposition & etc) to maintain the best possible SCM involving efficient communication among each party, S&OP excellence, forecasting, inventory management, internal stakeholders’ demand management,  distributor contract/KPI management, reporting and price flow management, partner infrastructure improvement in order to fit for Vodafone’s strategies and targets.

Job Responsibility

Your Place in the team

•    Clearly understand Vodafone product portfolio strategy and monitor and provide feedback for a sustainable SCM process of distributor to align to Vodafone timelines and targets.
•    Clearly understand, be aware of up to date all distributor(s) dynamics, internal processes and capabilities in order to manage & direct for Vodafone strategies. Provide feedback to related distributor contacts and ensure realization of all improvement/change necessities on time.
•    Ensure an efficient and on time information flow between each required parties of Vodafone and distributor(s).
•    Provide necessary support and feedback for engagement and collaboration of Segments’ and Sales Channels’ stakeholders and buy-in and advocacy for the mid to long term portfolio strategy and distributor(s) inventory management mainly for the Vodafone PO stock. Engage and align with the wider Terminals Team (Go to Market and Supply Chain/Distr.) to ensure effective lifecycle management with reference but not limited to: (i) in-life device refreshes, (ii) price erosion planning to ensure the range remains competitive within the broader market, (iii) proactively identify and resolve launch time line risks and issues and (iv) efficient end of life management.
•    Manage/monitor & interfere distributor(s)’ planning, forecasting, PO placement processes directly with all related distributor(s) team according to Vodafone portfolio & other related strategies with total loyalty to required timelines/deadlines. Provide feedback to Portfolio Management for Vodafone PO necessity and track Vodafone PO processes & push for finalization when needed.
•    Ensure an end to end management of Vodafone Retail Stock Management system for a healthy, sustainable and performance oriented scm & Vodafone sell out performance using distribution & POS based sell out data, building master stock 

•    list & minimum inventory level of sales points and ensuring all parties to proceed accordingly on time to fulfil requirements.
•    Ensure a healthy and sustainable distributor & VSC inventory level for each portolio product according to Vodafone strategies and dynamic targets. Maintain required balance between excess & low stock levels in order to provide optimum availability for targeted Vodafone sales performance.
•    Direct & track distributor(s) on time for optimum inventory & order management according to all related micro/macro dynamics, internal & external effects and up to date Vodafone strategies.
•    Ensure a healthy, effective and on time supply chain management for all Vodafone internal stakeholders (EBU, Vodafone Stores, Vodafone Online & Other Alternative Channels etc.). Provide necessary inventory updates for total alignment to reach optimum efficiency.
•    Ensure a healthy coordination between distributor(s) and Trade Marketing & Sales departments for new product introductions, demo unit processes and delivery list operations. Provide on time feedback for necessary actions to be taken by each party.

Long Description

•    Provide necessary reports and inputs for financial and operational processes related to workflow.
•    Ensure sustainability & accuracy of Daily channel based distributor sell-through tracking via distributor reports, Daily brand/model activation tracking via internal reports, Daily brand/color/capacity based distributor inventory tracking via distributor reports, Weekly device activation tracking from Vendors (Apple & Samsung) covering also vanilla sales.
•    Ensure sustainability and efficiency of Weekly whole team distributor meetings for overall planning & forecasting overview, Weekly distributor sales management meetings for field & sales activities feedback. Weekly update to all Terminal related parties in Vodafone Turkey during Terminal Coordination Meetings.
•    Provide necessary global & local reports regarding all flows among distributor, Vodafone and VSC.
•    Provide strategical business improvement plans in order to maintain constant development of Terminal Distribution business and communicate with required internal/external stakeholders for successful and on time actualisation.
•    Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and works carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations. Ensure that work associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable.
•    Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
•    Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,
•    Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,
•    Protect user accounts and associated passwords , and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.
•    Ensure that VFTR  BCM policy /standard ,procedures ,plans  implemented and works carried out in compliance with   BS 25999 -2:2007  Standard 
•    Ensure that BCM  risks are assessed and mitigated  so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR  Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
•    Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR

Long Description

•    Significant experience in sales, marketing field (5+ years)
•    Has knowledge about Terminal Marketing, market conditions and SCM, KPI & Price flow management.
•    Has managed implementation of cross-functional initiatives     
•    Project management and analytical thinking skills
•    Multi-task management                                                     
•    University degree  (MBA Degree is a plus)                                                
•    B2B / B2C marketing experience
•    Telecomm sector experience is a plus
•    Strong negotiation skills
•    Strong communication & presentation skill
•    Fluent English (Speaking & Writing)
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint
